Obituary for Elsie Asako Ige
Elsie Asako Ige, 91, of Wailuku, passed away on February 12, 2017 at Maui Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 1, 1925 in Wailuku.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Ballard Family Mortuary, service will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Burial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Maui Memorial Park in Wailuku.
She is survived by her children, Edwin (Joanna) Ige, Jr., Jo-Ann (Jeffrey) Kunishige, and Asa Ige; 6 grandchildren, Ikaika, Billie-Jo, Tracee, Ty, Samantha, and Bridgette; 11 great-grandchildren, Kawaiola, Sharai, Cody, Shaylee, Shya, Kanehe, Kawelo, Diesel, Hailani, Gauge, and Rhylee; and 5 great-grand-grandchildren, Kolten, Kaiana, Kysen, Pua’Olena, and Easton.
Elsie was predeceased by her husband, Edwin Ige Sr., and her grandson, Edwin Ige III.
