Henry Kalani Kaili Sr, 74, passed away on September 12, 2017. He worked for the County Of Maui as a plumbing inspector until his retirement in 2005.
Although he retired, he continued to work and help many people. He was a member of the Makule Pupule Construction Company, led by “Luna” Joe Young. He also loved working and having fun alongside his hanai family, the Young’s in Wailua. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He survived by his wife of 40 years, Martha Goodhue Kaili; sister, Genie Kaopua; sons, Henry KJG Kaili, hanai son, Kyle Yamanaka; daughters, Carole (Jason) Daly, Sheldeen (Craig) Cockett, Michelle (Vernon) Ikeda, Shereen Kaili, and hanai daughter, Etwina “Koko” Rubon; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild as well as his beloved dog, Bear.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at St. Ann’s Church in Waihe’e at 8:00am, mass will be celebrated at 10:00am.
