Audrey Kent Wilson, 89, passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on 4/22/20 at her home in Haliimaile, Hawaii.
Born in Hells Kitchen, New York, Audrey was the daughter of professional Classical Musicians, Carl Stern & Dorothy Hart, thus her lifelong love of Classical music. She spent half of her life on the New Jersey Shore, the other half in Hawaii.
Audrey graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Academy of Saint Elizabeth's and obtained her Master of Arts from Monmouth University in New Jersey. Audrey worked as a Librarian/Historian for Monmouth University until 1985 when she moved to Maui. She then worked as a Librarian for Rockwell/Textron, until her retirement in 1995.
She enjoyed spending time with loved ones, genealogy, painting, gardening, cats, collecting elephants, and correcting grammar errors!
Audrey is survived by her 3 children, Mark Wilson, (Kona), Kathryn Ramos, (Haliimaile) Bill Wilson, (Wayne, PA), 8 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren and one more Great-Grand-daughter on the way.
The family has entrusted Ballard Family Mortuary to handle the cremation and wish to thank the following : Kaunoa Senior Services, Kaiser Oncology Department, Pacific Cancer Institute, and Hospice Maui.
Per Moms wishes and due to the Virus, a PARTY to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
