Hannah Louisa Reinhardt Antonio, also known as, "Aunty Hannah", passed away at 93 years of age, on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Kaiser Permanent's Kula Hospital (nursing care), where she was a Resident over the past 5 years.

She was born on May 10, 1926 in Wailuku, Maui---to the late William Edward "Eddie" Reinhardt, Jr. and the late, Victoria Sarah Kaniuhele. She was born 9th and the last remaining, of 15 siblings (six died as stillborns or in infancy).

She grew up on her family's Kaianui's kuleana in Paukukalo (adjacent to the river-mouth). She often conveyed fond memories growing up there during her hanabatta days.

In her prime, Hannah's past employments included, nurse's aide, housekeeping and as a special needs school bus aide.

She is survived by her daughters Naomi Araki (Sam); Noelani Almeida (Allan J.); "Sing" Vista (Lloyd, deceased); and Hannah Carvalho-Antonio (Filbert Carvalho, Sr.). Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, 2x-great grandchildren and countless extended relatives.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of over 50 years, Catalino Beltran Antonio, Sr., her only son, Air Force Sgt. Catalino B. Antonio, Jr. aka "Cat" or "Bully" and her youngest daughter, June Enomoto (Wilfred "Sonny", deceased) and 2 moopuna, Laurie and "Fil Boy".

She was also predeceased by all eight remaining siblings, their spouses or as noted. Brothers: Charles Reinhardt, (Dolly Morado), William Reinhardt Jr., (Josephine Momoa); George Reinhardt (Toshiko Mizushima) and Isaac "Ike" Reinhardt (1st, Shirley Nani Yoshitomi; 2nd, Monica Park, living) and her Sisters: Mae (Edward) Kalua'u, Victoria (Analu) Almeida, Pearl (Harry) Mitchell and Eleanor R. (Ryan-Crislip).

Those who knew her, would describe her as very hard working, dependable and generous to a fault. She would always convey her genuinely heartfelt appreciation, no matter how big or small the assistance afforded her would be. She practiced and lived aloha.

She was spiritual, but small kine kolohe too. At gatherings, or kanikapila, she would readily get up to dance the hula, "E Huli Makou", to everyones' delight.

Our ohana would like to thank the 3rd floor nursing 'ohana, doctors, the rest of the staff at Kula Hospital and to Hospice Maui---for caring for our Mom's medical and personal needs with professionalism, dedication, kindness and dignity towards the end.

Hannah was loved by all fortunate to have known her and will be sorely missed. According to her wishes, no wake nor funeral services will be held. A private scattering of her ashes is being planned in the future.
