October 8, 1940 – December 13, 2019

Wade Nowlin Reeves passed away December 13, 2019 at home in Waikoloa Village, while in the loving care of his son, Arthur and favorite daughter-in-law, Nikki.

He was born October 8, 1940 in Honolulu to Charles Keaweaheulu Reeves and Jane Kalua (Jarrett) Reeves. Dad grew up in Kaimuki and Kuliouou surrounded by a large extended family. He was a proud St. Louis High School Alumni, graduating in the Class of 1959. Wade retired from the Hawai’i Army National Guard in 2000 after more than 40 years.

Wade is survived by his three children: Kelcey (William) Cambra, Jodi Mae (Roger) Kanakaole and Arthur (Nikki) Reeves; five grandchildren: Nohealani (Cameron) Phillips, Mitchel (Kapualani) Reeves, Kainoa (Elisa) Cambra, Reeves (Kaila) Kanakaole and Kaheaokalani Kanakaole; four great-grandchildren: Mikaela Kanakaole, Aidan Phillips, Maile Kanakaole and Piper Rose Phillips. Wade is also survived by his former spouse Rose Mae Reeves, sister-in-law Marietta (Chuki) Reeves, numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his siblings William, Charles and Charla Jane Reeves McGuire.

Please join Wade’s ‘Ohana to celebrate his life on Saturday, February 1, 2020at St. Louis Alumni Clubhouse (916 Coolidge Street, Honolulu). Visitation will be at 2:00 pm, with celebration at 3:30 pm and mea’ai to follow at 5:00 pm. Family is requesting no wreaths. Private scattering of ashes will be held at a later date.
